Laasya Acharya

Laasya is a high school senior from Mason, Ohio and one of the AgSensing Lab’s Student Research Interns. Laasya’s passions lie in agricultural research combined with machine learning. She has been involved with various science competitions and fairs for over 7 years now. She is also a Science Talent Search 2025 Finalist and an International Science and Engineering Fair 2022 & 2024 Finalist. She is the creator of the Ceres research, which is a project that utilizes artificial intelligence  for the early detection of crop diseases from images, thus allowing for crop yields to be saved.
