Dhakal received First Place for the 2025 Boyd-Scott Graduate Research Award Competition!

Sandeep Dhakal's research paper “Monitoring historical waste coal piles using image classification and change detection algorithms on satellite images” received First Place and has been selected as one of the top MS research papers for the 2025 Boyd-Scott Graduate Research Award competition! He has been invited to participate in the oral portion of the competition during the ASABE Annual International Meeting in Toronto, Canada. Congratulations Sandeep and good luck at ASABE!
